Fresh salad topped with blue cheese and slice pears.

Perfect dinner salad - Spinach, Pear and Blue Cheese Salad!

Spinach, Pear and Blue Cheese Salad topped with pecans and blue cheese crumbles.

Fall is in full swing here. The temperatures have dropped. The leaves are changing and pumpkins are everywhere you look. I'm all ready to dive into pasta dishes and soups. However, I still want a salad. The spinach, pear and blue cheese salad is a great fall salad.

Cutting up a fresh pear on a wooden cutting board with fresh spinach leaves in the background.

This is as simple as simple can be...just fresh baby spinach, a quick homemade blue cheese dressing, sliced pears and a few spiced pecans or honey roasted cashews!

Love Fall and all the colours of the leaves and the cooler temps. I also love a good salad and the ingredients in this one are totally calling my name! We just picked up a yummy creamy blue cheese and this salad would be a perfect way to use some of it 🙂 Can't wait to try!

Wonderful looking delicious and healthy salad, Kathy. I generally avoid blue cheese, but after looking at this recipe, I won't mind to eat it. Love how simple it is.
