I went to an event recently where they served this salad but also added cranberries – it was really great! Looking forward to trying your version, Kathy. I’m envious of your fall description – no let up in the heat here – in the 90s this weekend!

Cranberries would be lovely sprinkled on top. I was at a soccer tournament this past weekend and the temps were in the 80s. It was wonderful, especially since it was 45 and rainy back home! A little change of any weather is always nice.

Fall is definitely here and I’m not complaining about the cooler fall temps! What a fun salad, it’s one of those easy but still fancy salads, like the ones you’d serve to company. And they’d be really impressed!!!

Perfect for company. In the summer I often eat salad as my main meal, but the rest of the year salads are a side dish with a heartier meal.

Pear and blue cheese go hand in hand, if you add spinach and a lovely touch of crunch with the candied pecans you have a great dish. Love it!
