Fresh Raspberry Lemonade

Why make this lemonade

Sometimes when we go out to eat, the kids will order one of those fancy lemonades. I decided to replicate those and make fresh raspberry lemonade at home.

This lemonade is not only pretty to look at, but it's delicious to drink. It's refreshing and has the delicious taste of raspberries and lemons!

I make homemade lemonade all the time. This raspberry version is a fun twist on the classic.

Fresh lemons and raspberries on a wooden board.

Step by step directions

  • Squeeze the lemons
  • Place fresh (or frozen) raspberries in a small pot and heat over very low temperature. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Strain berries using a fine sieve
  • Add sugar to warm raspberry juice and stir until sugar is dissolved
  • Combine lemon juice, raspberry juice and water
  • Serve over ice

Recipe tips

  • Use fresh or frozen raspberries
  • Don't add ice until you're ready to serve
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon and fresh raspberries
  • If made ahead of time, stir before serving

Time saver - if you already have prepared raspberry sauce in your fridge, just add ¼ cup to your lemonade.
