Basil mayo

You are going to love this Basil Mayonnaise!

Basil happens to be one of my favorite fresh herbs. I make sure to grow several plants in my garden every summer. It brings me great joy to add fresh basil to pasta dishes and salads. Oh, and let's not forget about the abundance of pesto I whip up! But when I have extra basil on hand, I love using it to create this deliciously flavored mayonnaise.

The best part? It's incredibly quick and easy to make. Just a few simple steps and you'll have a mayonnaise bursting with the wonderful flavor of basil. It's a fantastic addition to any sandwich, wrap, or even as a dressing for salads. You could even try it in these delightful turkey wraps!

My daughter loves this on her sandwiches during the summertime. We make it every chance we get.

Another tasty flavored mayonnaise we make is this chipotle mayonnaise! Both would be delicious set out on a sandwich bar.
