This easy way to cook Italian sausages is so simple and leaves you with perfectly cooked, juicy sausages.
Oven Baked Italian Sausages are perfect for cooking just a few sausages or cooking a large batch to serve a crowd.
How to cook Italian sausages in the oven
My go-to method for cooking Italian sausages used to be on the stovetop in a frying pan or on the grill. The frying pan gives good results, but it's messy and you have to turn the sausages often to avoid burning.
Grilling the sausages is much like grilling brats, and I love the results, but sometimes the weather just isn't grilling weather. Cooking Italian sausages in the oven is not only easy, but you only need to flip the sausages once and you'll get perfectly cooked sausages every single time.
This is perfect when you just want to cook two sausages, but it's also great if you need to cook a few dozen. As long as you can leave some space between each sausage, you can cook as many as will fit on the pan.
This is the same method I use when I cook breakfast sausage in the oven.
