Summer is berry season, and that means it's the perfect time to fill the dessert table with bright, colorful treats. Fresh strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries add beautiful color and sweet flavor to everything from simple no-bake desserts to impressive cakes and bubbly cobblers.

Perfect for the Fourth of July
When summer arrives, and the garden starts overflowing with fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries, I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with a spread of berry desserts.
Around here, the Fourth of July means a small-town parade, good friends, and a table full of homemade treats. Whether it's a no-bake refrigerator dessert that keeps the kitchen cool on a hot July afternoon or a berry cobbler bubbling away in the oven, these are the recipes my family enjoys.
I love how naturally berries lend themselves to a red, white, and blue theme. The colors are already there! From elegant raspberry mousse served in pretty glass parfaits to the tasty triple berry cobbler, which is perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, there's something here for everyone.
These are my favorites, all made from scratch and packed with fresh berry flavor. I hope they find a place at your summer table, too!
1. No-Bake Berry Delight

When the summer heat is at its peak, the last thing I want to do is turn on the oven. This no-bake dessert is layered with fresh blueberries and strawberries, fluffy whipped cream, and vanilla wafers — and it comes together in just 10 minutes. Those gorgeous red and blue berries give you the perfect patriotic colors without any fuss!
2. Triple Berry Cobbler

Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries all in one dish — this cobbler is a summertime dream. The juicy berry filling bubbles up under a simple homemade biscuit topping, and the whole thing mixes together in just one bowl. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and you have the ultimate summer dessert.
3. Patriotic White Chocolate Pretzels

While these aren't made with berries, these chocolate-covered pretzels are an easy way to add a little extra festivity to your Fourth of July spread. Dipped in white chocolate and covered in red, white, and blue sprinkles, they are perfect for any summertime celebration. Put the kids to work on these — they'll have a blast!
4. Strawberry Chocolate Shortcake

Classic strawberry shortcake gets an irresistible upgrade when you add chunks of chocolate right into the homemade biscuits. Stack them high with fresh, juicy strawberries and a generous dollop of whipped cream for a dessert that feels both elegant and completely indulgent. It's one of those recipes that looks impressive but is surprisingly simple to pull together.
5. Blueberry Lemon Bundt Cake

Blueberries and lemon are a natural combination, and together they make a truly showstopper of a cake. Fresh blueberries are tucked throughout the batter alongside plenty of bright lemon flavor, and a white glaze drizzled over the top makes it a beautiful centerpiece for any summer table. Simple, stunning, and absolutely delicious.
6. Raspberry Shortcake

When the raspberry bushes are full and ready to harvest, this is one of the first recipes I make. Fresh raspberries are nestled between sweet homemade biscuits and a cloud of whipped cream for a dessert that is absolutely perfect. It's a little different from the classic, and I think you'll love it just as much as I do.
7. Blueberry Crisp

If you're looking for an easy-to-make dessert that really lets fresh blueberries shine, this crisp is just what you need. My one-bowl method makes it even simpler, and the crispy oatmeal topping over the juicy blueberry filling is pure comfort. Top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and it's absolutely irresistible.
8. Raspberry Delight

This no-bake refrigerator dessert is perfect for those hot summer days when you just don't want to bake. Fresh raspberries, fluffy whipped cream, and a graham cracker crust come together in a cool, creamy treat that we savor all summer long. It's the kind of dessert that disappears fast — so make plenty!
9. Raspberry Mousse

Light, fluffy, and full of fresh raspberry flavor, this mousse is a perfect dessert for both casual summer gatherings and more elegant occasions. I use a shortcut method that makes it easier than ever to pull together. Serve it in pretty glass parfaits with a dollop of whipped cream and watch it disappear!
10. Strawberry Sweet Rolls

Who says a berry dessert can't double as a holiday breakfast? These homemade sweet rolls are filled with fresh strawberries and a touch of jam, baked right into soft, pillowy dough, and finished with a sweet white icing. They make any summer morning feel like a special occasion.
