    Blueberry Watermelon Salad

    This Blueberry Watermelon Salad is delicious and refreshing. It's a perfect summer salad and is easy to make. Made with fresh watermelon, blueberries, and the simplest fresh lime and mint dressing.

    Watermelon salad

    In the summer, there's nothing better than eating watermelon. It's cold, refreshing, and helps keep you hydrated. Making an easy salad out of it just makes good sense.

    This watermelon salad with blueberries is a delicious combination. It's perfect for summer BBQs, picnics, or potlucks. It's one of those dishes you don't need to worry about leaving out on the table when the weather is hot.

    Ingredients for watermelon salad

    Fresh watermelon, a container of blueberries and a honey pot on a wooden board.
    • Watermelon - Any type of watermelon works. It's best if you cut it up yourself. Don't buy a pre-cut watermelon.
    • Blueberries - Fresh blueberries are needed.
    • Lime Juice - Use freshly squeezed lime juice for the best flavor.
    • Honey - Just a touch of honey is added.
    • Mint - Fresh mint leaves adds just the right touch.

    Making the salad

    1. Combine lime juice, honey, and mint together. Stir until the honey has dissolved.

    1. Cut watermelon into bite sized cubes. Place in a bowl along with the blueberries.

    2. Serve right away, or cover and refrigerate. Toss lightly just before serving.

    Ingredients
     
     

    • 8 cups watermelon (cubed)
    • 1 cup blueberries
    • ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
    • 2 teaspoons honey
    • 1 teaspoon fresh mint (cut into thin strips)

    Instructions
     

    • Combine lime juice, honey, and mint together. Stir until the honey has dissolved.

    • Cut watermelon into bite-sized cubes and place in a bowl along with the blueberries.

    • Pour dressing over the top of the fruit. Toss gently to coat.
