Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F
Pat the wings dry with a paper towel.
1½ - 2 pounds chicken wings
Drizzle over oil and toss to coat.
1 tablespoon olive oil
Combine seasoning with brown sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle over wings. Use your hands to rub the seasoning over all areas of the wings.
2 teaspoons brown sugar,
1 teaspoon smoked paprika,
½ teaspoon chili powder,
½ teaspoon garlic powder,
½ teaspoon onion powder,
¼ teaspoon dried thyme,
¼ teaspoon dried parsley,
½ teaspoon salt,
¼ teaspoon pepper
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated 400°F oven for 40-45 minutes until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
Serve with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for a garnish.
Notes
Use parchment paper or a silicone liner to help prevent the chicken from sticking to the cookie sheet and to make cleanup easier.
Your hands are the best tool to rub the seasoning mixture on the wings.
Chicken is fully cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Leftover wings can be stored in a covered container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
If you prefer a spicier wing, add additional chili powder.
