  • 12 whole jalapenos halved and seeded
  • 4 oz cream cheese room temperature
  • 1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 1 Tablespoon fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup fresh diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon sliced green onions
  1. Mix cream cheese in a bowl until smooth.
  2. Fold in Monterey Jack cheese.

  3. Fill each jalapeno half with cheese mixture. Don't overfill or the cheese will ooze over the sides of the pepper.
  4. Place in a 400 degree preheated oven
  5. Bake for 20 - 30 minutes until heated through and lightly browned.
  6. Place on serving dish and garnish with cilantro and tomatoes and onions
