4 fish fillets,
2-3 tablespoons blackening seasoning

1 tablespoon oil

Once fish are cooked through, remove from pan and serve hot

Notes
Any type of white fish fillet can be used
A cast iron skillet is the ideal pan to use for pan-frying blackened fish. If you don't have a cast iron skillet, use a heavy-bottomed pan.
Use a fish spatula to get all the way under the fish. This will help prevent the fillets from falling apart.
Cooking time will vary depending on the size of your fillets and the temperature of your pan.
Cook fish until it is fully cooked through to 145°F
