Instructions
Combine flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon and cloves together.
3 cups flour,
3 teaspoons ground ginger,
2 teaspoons baking soda,
1 ½ teaspoons ground cinnamon,
¼ teaspoon ground cloves,
¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg,
¼ teaspoon salt
In a mixing bowl, combine butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar
1 cup butter,
1¾ cup granulated sugar,
¾ cup brown sugar
Mix in eggs, vanilla and molasses
2 eggs,
⅓ cup molasses,
1 teaspoon vanilla
Use a cookie scoop to make round balls. Roll each ball into granulated sugar and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
½ cup granulated sugar
Bake in preheated 375°F oven for 10-12 minutes
Notes
Be certain to scrape your bowl with a spatula after mixing in each ingredient. This ensures that everything is fully mixed in.
Use a cookie scoop to create evenly sized cookies
Allow cookies to fully cool before storing
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4-5 days
