Crumble cake into a large bowl.

Mix in frosting. I used my hands.

Form cake into balls and roll together with hands.

Place cake balls on baking sheet.

Place sheet in refrigerator for several hours or in the freezer for 15 minutes.

In a deep microwave bowl, place candy coating. Melt according to package directions.

Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the melted candy.

Insert stick halfway into pop.

Dip pop into melted candy coating. Do no stir around.

Lift out and let excess candy drip off.

Apply sprinkles or colored sugar, if desired.

Place upright to cool and harden. I used an inverted egg carton, but a Styrofoam block works too.
