Ingredients
Fruit Filling
  • 2 pounds peaches sliced
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Biscuit Topping
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 Tablespoons butter cubed
  • 3/4 cup milk
Topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar optional
Instructions
Fruit Filling
  1. Combine peaches, sugar, flour and cinnamon.

Biscuit Topping
  1. Put flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a food processor. Pulse 2-3 times to mix.

  2. Add butter. Pulse until butter is incorporated and mixture is coarse.

  3. Add milk. Pulse until dough is formed.

Assemble Cobbler
  1. Grease a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish.

  2. Stir peach mixture again and add to casserole.

  3. Place dollops of biscuit dough on top of peaches.

  4. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar on top of biscuit dough.

  5. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes until topping is browned and filling is bubbly.
