¼ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon honey, 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar
Slice rolls in half horizontally, without separating the individual rolls.
1 package Hawaiian rolls
Spread the mayo mixture over both halves of the rolls.
On the bottom half of the rolls, layer slices of ham and then top with cheese. Add the top half of the rolls and place in a lightly greased baking dish.
9 ounces Deli ham, 6 slices Swiss cheese
Melt butter in a saucepan or in the microwave. Stir in parsley and garlic powder. Brush over the top of the rolls.
Cover the sliders with foil and place in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and continue baking for another 5-10 minutes until the center of the sliders are hot and the cheese is melted.
Let rest for 2-3 minutes, then remove sliders from the pan and place on a large cutting board. Use a large chef's knife and cut through the seams of the rolls to cut into individual sliders.
Serve hot or warm.
Notes
Keep the rolls connected when slicing and assembling. This makes layering easy and helps everything bake evenly.
Use thinly sliced ham and cheese so the sliders heat through quickly and every bite has a good balance.
Don’t skip covering with foil for the first part of baking. It helps the cheese melt without over-browning the tops.
Add the butter topping just before baking so the rolls don’t become soggy while sitting.
Let the sliders rest for a few minutes after baking before cutting. This helps the cheese set slightly and makes them easier to separate.
Cut along the roll lines to quickly create neat, even sliders.
