Ingredients

peppermint candies
crushed
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar together.
½ cup butter,
1 cup sugar
Add sour cream, egg, and vanilla. Mix
½ cup sour cream,
1 whole egg,
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix in baking powder, baking soda, salt and flour.
1 teaspoon baking powder,
¼ teaspoon baking soda,
2 ½ cups flour,
¼ teaspoon salt
Place cookie dough on a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap dough completely with wrap.
Refrigerate for at least one hour.
Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface to approximately ¼ inch thick.
Use cookie cutters to cut out desired shape. Place on baking sheet.
Sprinkle cookies with crushed peppermint candy.
10 peppermint candies
Bake at 375 for 7-8 minutes.
Cool on a baking rack.
Notes
Be certain to chill dough before rolling and cutting.
