15 ozcanchickpeas (garbanzo beans)rinsed and drained

¼cuptahini
1 cuproasted red bell peppers
2Tablespoonslemon juicefresh squeezed
2-3Tablespoonsolive oil
¼teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Place chickpeas, bell peppers, garlic, tahini and lemon juice in a food processor.
Pulse until combined
Add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil with food process running, until desired consistency is reached.
Add salt and stir to combine

Tips:
Be certain to fully drain and rinse chickpeas
When using jarred roasted bell peppers, remove excess liquid by patting peppers dry
Amount of olive oil added will vary depending on how creamy and thick you like your hummus. Start with 1 tablespoon then stop to taste test. Add an additional 1-2 if needed
Save 1-2 tablespoons of chopped roasted bell peppers for a garnish
