Instructions
Filling
Place peaches and blackberries in a large bowl
6 cups sliced peaches,
2 cups blackberries
Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon juice and zest. Toss to coat.

¼ cup flour,
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon,
1 tablespoon lemon juice,
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Place in a lightly greased baking dish - 7x11" or 8x11"
Topping
In a separate bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix to combine.
1½ cups flour,
2 tablespoons sugar,
2 teaspoons baking powder,
¼ teaspoon salt
Add butter and cut butter into flour using your hands or a pastry blender. Mixture should resemble coarse crumbs, no larger than a small pea.
6 tablespoons butter
Add milk and stir just until combined
¾ cup milk
Place spoonfuls of the topping on top of the fruit mixture
Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 55-60 minutes until the mixture is bubbly
Allow cobbler to cool. Serve while still warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Don't overmix the biscuit topping. Stir just until combined
Add uneven spoonfuls of the topping on top of the fruit
Don't thaw the blackberries and peaches before using
If using fresh fruit, reduce baking time by 15-25 minutes. You want a golden topping and the fruit mixture to be bubbly
