Ingredients

sour cream

peanut butter
chunky or creamy

chocolate chips

honey roasted peanuts
chopped, optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt
1¾ cups flour,
⅓ cup cocoa powder,
3 teaspoons baking powder,
½ teaspoon baking soda,
¼ teaspoon salt
In another bowl, combine milk, sugar, sour cream, oil, egg and vanilla together with an electric mixer
¾ cup milk,
½ cup sour cream,
½ cup sugar,
⅓ cup oil,
1 egg,
1 teaspoon vanilla
Mix in peanut butter until fully combined
¾ cup peanut butter
Add flour mixture and mix just until flour is combined
Fold in chocolate chips
½ cup chocolate chips
Divide dough into muffin tins lined with paper liners or sprayed with a nonstick spray
Top with chopped peanuts, if desired
⅓ cup honey roasted peanuts
Notes
Chunky peanut butter or creamy peanut butter can be used in this recipe
Use an electric mixer to fully incorporate the peanut butter into the liquid mixture
Once you add flour, stir until combined - don't overmix
Gently fold in chocolate chips
Use paper liners or spray your muffin tin with a nonstick spray
Gently push chopped peanuts into the top of the batter. This helps prevent the peanuts from falling off the muffins once cooked.
