Sparkling Limeade

Refreshing beverage made with fresh limes and carbonated water.

Ingredients

  • 2 Limes
  • 2 Tablespoons Hot Water
  • 2 Tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 ½ Cups Sparkling water
  • 2 Cups Ice

Instructions

  • Squeeze the lime juice into a large measuring cup.
  • In a separate bowl, pour hot water and sugar. Mix until sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add sugar water to lemon juice.
  • Add sparkling water and stir.
  • Fill two glasses with ice.
  • Pour mixture over ice.
  • Garnish with additional lime wedges.

Notes

  • For best results use fresh squeezed lime juice.
  • Hot tap water will work to dissolve the sugar. Make certain you stir until it is completely  dissolved.
