Tart and refreshing grapefruit sorbet

Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh squeezed grapefruit juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
Instructions
  1. Place sugar and water in a sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.  Let cool. 

  2. Add juice and stir.

  3. Cover and chill in refrigerator for at least one hour.

  4. Add mixture to a frozen ice cream bowl.

  5. Churn in an automatic ice cream make, following manufactures directions.

  6. Remove from container into a freezer proof bowl.

  7. Cover and freeze for at least one hour or until firm.
