Beautiful appetizer filled with brie and cranberry sauce

Ingredients
  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 round of brie 8 oz
  • 1/4 cup whole cranberry sauce excess juice drained off
Egg Wash
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 Tablespoons water
Instructions
  1. Roll puff pastry out, thinning out just slightly.
  2. Cut off corners so corners are rounded.
  3. Place brie in center of pastry. Add cranberry sauce on top of brie.
  4. Fold pastry up around brie.
  5. Mix egg and water together in a small bowl.
  6. Using a pastry brush, brush entire outside surface of brie with egg mixture.
  7. Add decorative pieces of pastry, if desired.
  8. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
  9. Serve warm with crackers, bread slices or veggies.
