Ingredients
  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 1 whole egg lightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
Instructions
  1. Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  2. In another bowl mix buttermilk, egg, and butter
  3. Mix liquid ingredients in with dry ingredients.
  4. Lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish (mine is about 10" x 6")
  5. Bake in a preheated 325 degree oven for 35-40 minutes
