Walleye Salad

Ingredients

Salad

  • 2 cups walleye cooked and broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper red, yellow or orange chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion chopped

Dressing

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Place walleye, peppers, and onions in a bowl.
  • Mix mayonnaise, mustard, dill, lemon juice, lemon zest and black pepper together in a bowl.
  • Add dressing to fish. Stir very lightly so the fish doesn't fall apart.
  • Serve right away or cover and refrigerate to serve later.

Notes

This salad will keep up to two days in the refrigerator.
