Chicken Pot Pie

Delicious homemade pot pie with chunks of chicken, veggies and a puff pastry crust.

HOmemade and delicious - use leftover chicken or turkey!

Step 1

Saute veggies in a hot pan. 

Step 2

Make a sauce starting with flour and butter. Add broth and milk.  

Step 3

Once sauce has thickened, add veggies and chopped chicken

Step 4

Stir well until everything is well coated

Step 5

Place filling in a deep dish pie plate and cover with puff pastry

Step 5

Brush with an egg wash and bake in a 400° oven for 35-45 minutes.

Step 6

Serve hot from the oven
