Blueberry Lemon Scones are a perfect way to start any day!

Blueberry Lemon Scones

I’ve been busy baking up some yummy scones. Blueberry lemon scones are my latest version.  Lately I seem to be using lemon in just about everything!

I love that you can use it in a savory dish like this Lemon Rosemary Grilled Chicken or in a dessert like in these lemon bars and then there are these blueberry lemon scones!  I just never tire of good old fresh lemon in anything.

Making scones is fairly easy.  The number one trick is to not over mix the dough.  As I always say, practice makes perfect when making just about anything.

I’ve definitely practiced making scones…oh… about a few hundred times.  Don’t be afraid to give these a try.   My recipe for these scones are featured at Or So She Says.  Hop over and check it out!  You’re gonna love ’em!

Scones are one of my weaknesses….I could eat them all day, everyday! I do have to have a bit of restraint to hold back!

These scones are just so beautiful – and I LOVE blueberries. The first time I had scones was in college when my parents took me to England for Spring Break. They were round and a little fussy and of course served with jam and clotted cream. I much prefer this beautiful rustic display just bursting with blueberries. Thanks for such a delicious recipe!

If blueberries and lemons can’t bring on springtime here in the 21 degree northeast (sob!) I don’t know what will. I think I better make these STAT! 🙂

Lemon blueberry is the best flavor combination for these warmer days…or at least these days that are supposed to be warmer! Maybe a batch of these scones will make me forget the snow in the driveway… 🙂

Blueberry lemon scones sounds just the way to spend my day after a horrible doctor’s appointment, bleh. They just seem so dainty and delicate and so uplifting with a cuppa tea, just the ticket after a rough morning. The perfect wedding shower food, don’t you think?
